# Disclaimer: not investment advice

Tracked Money publishes information taken from public disclosures. It is **not investment advice** and not a personal recommendation. It does not take account of your objectives, financial situation or needs. Tracked Money is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

## The data is late by design

Filers report after they trade: members of Congress and executive-branch officials within 45 days, corporate insiders within two business days, institutions 45 days after each quarter. Prices will usually have moved by the time a trade is public.

## The data is imprecise by design

Congressional and OGE reports give amount ranges, not exact sizes or prices. Some reports are scans read by text recognition, and names are matched to tickers by software; either step can be wrong. Options-block directions are inferred, not known. Check the linked source filing before relying on any row.

## Returns are illustrations, not results

Returns are computed as if every disclosed purchase had been bought on its trade date in equal amounts. Nobody could have done that, because the trades were not public yet. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The value of investments can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you invest. US shares also carry currency risk for investors in the UK and Europe.

## A filing is not an allegation

A disclosed trade is a record the law requires. It is not evidence of wrongdoing by the person who filed it.

## Sponsors

The free app shows labelled sponsor and partner offers, and we may be paid when you use them. They are not recommendations.
