About Tracked Money
Last updated 25 September 2026
Tracked Money is an iPhone app that reads US public financial disclosures and tells you when someone you follow reports a trade. It is built in the UK for investors in the UK and Europe who follow US markets. It has not launched on the App Store yet.
What it reads
- Stock trades that members of Congress report on periodic transaction reports (the STOCK Act).
- Trades that the President, cabinet secretaries and other senior officials report on OGE Form 278-T.
- Corporate insiders' purchases and sales (SEC Form 4), activist and 5%+ stakes (Schedule 13D) and quarterly institutional holdings (Form 13F).
- Institution-sized options blocks, read from end-of-day option chains, and large federal contract awards.
How each source is collected, and its limits, is on the methodology page, with every upstream source listed under data sources.
What it does not do
- It does not connect to a brokerage, hold money or place trades.
- It does not give personal recommendations. Tracked Money is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority; see the disclaimer.
- It does not accuse anyone of anything. A disclosed trade is a record the law requires, not an allegation.
Who runs it
Tracked Money is operated by [LEGAL NAME] Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [COMPANY NUMBER]). Registered office: [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS]. Founder: [FOUNDER NAME]; see team and authors.
How the words and numbers are made
Numbers come from the filings and are computed by code. Blog articles are drafted by an AI model from those numbers, checked automatically against them, and reviewed by a person before they are published. The editorial policy explains the process and the corrections page how to report a mistake.
