Where Capitol Trades is the better choice
Capitol Trades is free, needs no account, and is genuinely good at the one thing it does. If all you want is to browse congressional trades on a laptop and you do not want alerts, it costs nothing and there is no argument for paying Tracked Money instead. It is the incumbent this whole category has to beat on something other than price.
What Tracked Money does that is actually different
Every product on this page reads filings that are already public, and so does Tracked Money — congressional periodic transaction reports, SEC Form 4s and 13Fs are the same documents for everybody.
